WINTER TT SERIES

This Saturday, November 12, 2011 will be our first winter TT at Woodward Lake at 10:00 a.m. weather permitting. Right now the forecast is rain, but we'll see. We will start at the top of Eastman Rd. at the dam. I will also lead a ride after the TT either into Knights Ferry or out to Farmington. We will be doing TT's every 2nd Saturday of the month and we will have a ride scheduled after each one for those who would like to ride after the tt or those who would just like to ride.

Murphys Pancake Ride

3rd Sunday of every month. Breakfast served at the Native Sons of the West Hall on Main Street from 7:30 to 11:30. For the ride, meet at Black Bart Playhouse parking lot in Murphys at 9:00 a.m. There are 2 options. A 50 mile technical/tough/hilly ride through Calaveras County or a moderate 24 miler in and around Murphys into Angels Camp. For the first option you will need to eat breakfast before the ride as the hall will be closed when you return. The second option allows you to eat breakfast before or after the ride.

TIME TRIALS IN ANGELS CAMP

Who: Anybody who wants to ride. We have road bikes, mountain bikes and cruisers who ride with us. All ages welcome. When: Every Tuesday at 6 p.m. beginning April 6th. Angels Camp time trials will stop for the season with the time change in the fall. Bad weather may cancel time trials. Where: Hwy 49 in Angels Camp, at Glory Hole Store, begins near the parking area. Three courses are available: a 4-mile, 8 mile, and a 12- mile loop. You may go for 1-3 laps if you wish. It’s a rolling course, no big hill, and multiple turnarounds. Approx. 20 miles with a few good climbs

Alternate routes for new riders if needed that meets up with the usual ride at various spots.
